DECORATIVE OBJECTS

One side of the production of the Miroir aux Prêles is characterised by bigger vessels that offer endless variations on the theme of twisted sharp fluting, of slanting swollen gadroons, of cabled vertical rhythms. Always hand-modelled, these pieces show either a rusty grainy unglazed stoneware body or a rich shiny thick celadon glaze. Unless specified otherwise, all the following pieces were fired at 1260°C in a reducing atmosphere.
